Details

The Skywatcher EVOGuide 50ED V2 Guide Scope is a small ED refractor guidescope built for autoguiding or for use as a finderscope! It can even be used independently as a wide-field imaging telescope.

With ED Glass, you can expect lens dispersion and chromatic aberration to be kept to a minimum. And with a Helical Focuser, Collimated Rings, a Vixen Mini Bar and a T2 Thread, the EVOGuide 50mm ED V2 is incredibly versatile and fit for a number of different setups.

Difference Between Sky-Watcher EVOGuide 50ED V1 and V2

The Skywatcher EVOGuide 50ED V2 has a 45mm Dovetail Vixen Mini Bar, which allows it to be used independently as a widefield imaging telescope, mounted on a smaller equatorial mount such as the Skywatcher Star Adventurer GTi. V2 can also be used as a guidescope or a finderscope.

The 50ED V1 has a Finderscope Type Dovetail instead, which allows it to be used as either a guidescope or a finderscope, but not independently as an imaging telescope.
