Telescope Lesson and Viewing
Learn how to use your telescope/Social night-sky viewing
Got a new scope, or an old one lying around gathering dust? We highly recommend that you come to our Telescope Lesson and Viewing nights to learn how to use your scope to explore the night sky in a friendly atmosphere. Training will be provided by Sirius Optics staff and amateur astronomers. Just come along and have a look through some telescopes.

This event is weather dependent. If you can see the moon and it's not raining or completely overcast, we will be able to do most of the activities we have planned. We will make the final call at 4:00pm on the day on whether we will be doing the wet weather program that ends at 7:30pm instead. The store will remain open if you wish to make any purchases on the night. These nights do tend to run late (8:30pm or later) if the weather and seeing conditions are very good.
