This telescope comes with a focal length of 500mm and an aperture of 114mm which will give you good views of the Moon, planets, bright nebulae and star clusters. The aluminium optical tube also has a rack-and-pinion focuser, ensuring smooth adjustments to focus your object into place. This scope's accessory pack includes two 1.25" eyepieces, a finderscope, an erecting eyepiece, a barlow lens and an adjustable aluminium tripod with accessory tray.

For a great beginner scope without the hefty price tag, look no further than the saxon 1145AZ Reflector Telescope.

Unleash the power of your smartphone to take you on a guided tour of the night sky—no telescope experience required.

Patent-pending StarSense sky recognition technology uses your smartphone to analyze star patterns overhead and calculate its position in real time. Check phone compatibility here.

StarSense Explorer app automatically generates a list of objects currently visible. View planets, brighter nebulae and galaxies, star clusters, and double stars from the city. Or take your telescope to darker skies to view faint, deep sky objects.

Manual altazimuth mount with smooth, dual-axis slow-motion controls makes it easy to follow the on-screen arrows to your desired target. When the bullseye turns green, it’s ready to view in the telescope’s eyepiece.

80mm refractor with fully coated glass optics for bright, sharp views.

Includes 25mm and 10mm eyepieces, 2x Barlow Lens, StarSense smartphone dock, erect image diagonal, a red dot finderscope (in case you want to use the telescope without your phone), and a full-height tripod.

NOTE: The Starsense telscope uses your smartphone as a navigation device only, not to take photos.
