**COVID-19 Measures at Sirius Optics**

In line with current government recommendations we wish to advise that Sirius Optics remains open and we have taken a number of extra steps to help keep our customers and team safe. These include:

Store Cleaning and Hygiene

We wish to reassure our customers that we have put in place stringent measures to facilitate extra cleaning and sanitising at the beginning and end of each day for the safety of our customers and staff. Our staff have had additional training on maintaining good hygiene practices and care about the health of our customers.

We are happy to see our customers being equally diligent by practising hand hygiene when visiting our store. At this time, to ensure best health standards are upheld, we will not be allowing customers to handle binoculars, spotting scopes, and telescopes in the showroom.

In line with recommended health guidelines we are asking our valued customers to keep a social distance of 1.5 metres between other customers and staff in the shop. We love you dearly and love to see you in the shop but we must also keep safe. If we do this then we can keep open and serving you.

Training Sessions

Training sessions and beginners nights are suspended until further notice.

Online Shopping

Our online ordering and shopping is still avaiable for you and many people are taking advantage of this.

If you are feeling unwell, we would strongly encourage you to take advantage of our online store, or give us a call and our friendly staff will be happy to process your order. For those customers who are isolated and need to stay at home, who live in the greater Brisbane area, we are offering free or subsidised shipping (depending on product). Call or email us at sales@sirius.optics.com.au and we will arrange this for you.

Safe Delivery Practices

The Couriers delivering your items have implemented new guidelines and delivery options so that they can continue to safely deliver your products. These include increased hygiene standards, exercising social distancing during deliveries and no-touch delivery options. Please support them in this as they attempt to get your goodies to you.

There are going to be some challenges for everyone so we ask you to please be patient and considerate of our team as they continue to serve you through this challenging period and thank you again for your ongoing support of Sirius Optics.
