The Dew Heater Ring permanently mounts to your 5" Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube, replacing your retaining ring, so you'll never be caught without it.

The installation process is quick and easy (follow the manual for instructions).

NOTE: Sirius Optics recommends that any dew heater strap or heated dew shield be connected to a dual channel dew controller and not directly to 12V.

This allows the user to regulate the current and temperature of the dew heater strap or dew shield.
