Astrodon 5nm Narrowband Filters – H-alpha 5nm

H-α (hydrogen-alpha) at 656 nm (nanometers) is deep red in color and the most popular narrowband filter. Hydrogen is ubiquitous in the cosmos and is present in emission nebula (North American, Pelican), planetary nebula (Dumbbell, Ring), Wolf-Rayet objects (Crescent, Thor’s Helmet) and supernova remnants (Veil).

Safely attach telescope optical tubes and accessories with Farpoint Vixen Dovetail Plate – Armored Strip – Celestron 9.25 Inch SCT (pre 2008).  This 19″ Vixen style dovetail bar features a stainless steel armored strip to prevent damage.

Farpoint Dew Shield – Celestron 6SE SCT is a tough cover that protects optical equipment and allows for moisture-free observing sessions.

Dew shield to prevent dew appearance and improve contrast. Easy to fit. Suitable for 6”  telescopes.

NOTE: Sirius Optics recommends that any dew heater strap or heated dew shield be connected to a dual channel dew controller and not directly to 12V.

This allows the user to regulate the current and temperature of the dew heater strap or dew shield.
