The ZWO ASI6200MC-P is a full-frame 62-megapixel cooled colour camera built around Sony's back-illuminated IMX455 sensor, delivering exceptional sensitivity, native 16-bit ADC output, and a dynamic range of up to 14 stops. With ultra-low readout noise of just 1.2e, zero amp glow, and two-stage TEC cooling for virtually negligible dark current, it's an outstanding choice for serious deep-sky astrophotography.

The 6” Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube offers 40% more light gathering ability than a 5” telescope. The Schmidt-Cassegrain design also eliminates chromatic aberration, making it a good choice for entry-level astroimaging.

NOTE: The recommended solar filters for this scope for solar observing are;

- the Orion 185 mm (7.17") Glass Solar Filter (Product No. 125081) or

- the Meade Glass White Light Solar Filter 172 - 180 mm (Product No. 125918).
