Details
Small in size but large in power, the saxon 90125 Observatory Cassegrain Telescope is a great scope for intermediate to advanced observers.
The telescope's high-resolution, diffraction-limited optical systems promises bright, crisp views of your objects. Combined with the scope's aperture of 90mm and focal length of 1250mm, you'll be out on the field observing deep sky objects in a jiffy!
It's easy to switch and change your mount and tripod for different viewing purposes, and the compact size of the scope makes it easy to put away between uses. If you're after views of nature or scenery, you'll want to mount this scope on an Alt-Azimuth mount. For astronomers, we'd recommend the German Equatorial or GoTo mount.
The saxon 90125 Observatory Cassegrain Telescope features the following:
90mm aperture
Focal length of 1250mm (F/13.8)
90 degree star diagonal
Red dot finderscope
Super 25mm & 10mm eyepieces
Photography is possible with the purchase of optional accesssories.
NOTE: This OTA requires a Vixen dovetail plate to allow it to be used in Vixen saddle type mounts. This OTA has a flat mounting base as standard and can be used on standard tripods but will require a dovetail for use on HEQ5, VX, NEQ6, CGX, AZ5 and similar mounts
